Tips for proper injection technique

Proper injection technique is important for experiencing the full benefits of insulin therapy. It includes, but is not limited to:

  • Rotating injection sites and injecting within sites at least one finger width apart. Recommended sites for injection are the abdomen, thigh, buttock and upper arm.
